A FORUM ON DIE CASTING PROCESS AND DIE TEMPERATURE CONTROL

The German MAGMA Academy and the Italian ENGINSOFT are organizing a Forum in Lazise entitled: "OPTIMIZATION OF DIE CASTING PROCESS USING EFFICIENT TEMPERATURE CONTROL". The Forum will take place on May 16th and 17th and will offer the opportunity to delve into topics such as the die casting of structural castings, the thermoregulation of the moulds, 3D printing applied to the moulds, the lubrication of the mold and the analysis of temperatures, the optimization of the mechanical properties of a casting, the choice of mold materials, process control, sensors dedicated to die casting, virtual design, optimization of the casting process. All accompanied by an interactive workshop in small groups. The organizers asked us for a speech that illustrates our approach to the lubrication of the mold and its optimization by monitoring the surface temperature of the dies, we willingly complied with the request and our Flavio Cecchetto will present a speech entitled "The lubrication of the mold as latest tool for managing mold surface temperatures; potential effect on the mold of different approaches with on-process temperature analysis".
