A WORKSHOP ON DIGITALIZATION IN THE FOUNDRY

Digitalization represents a crucial step for foundries that wish to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market. By integrating advanced technologies, production processes can be improved, production times can be reduced, and quality can be increased.

The mold lubrication phase, thanks to the innovations introduced by Motultech Baraldi, can finally be integrated into the digitalization of Die Casting processes, allowing a positive impact on the Sustainability of processes and economic savings on production costs.

The Italian Association of Metallurgy – AIM- and its Die Casting Technical Committee, has organized a Study Day at the Kilometro Rosso in Bergamo on November 5, 2024, to discuss these issues and present the testimonies of some important Italian foundries.

Motultech Baraldi together with Teksid/Stellantis and Marposs will present the paper: “Digitalizing the Lubrication Cycle” with speakers Giulio Zini (Marposs), Luca Tortone (Teksid/Stellantis) and Flavio Cecchetto (Motultech Baraldi).

The presentation will show the technologies developed and their use by Teksid/Stellantis.
